Grid45 started with two guys that were tired of traditional jobs, and wanted to join the craze of working at home. We also wanted to make the web a prettier and more usable place, and help out local small businesses with services to expand their business online. Also to provide non-profit organizations with free website design to help promote good causes. Hello, My Name Is Matt!

Thanks for using the San Diego Web Design Directory! My name is Matt Whelan and I am a web designer from Los Angeles. I spend most of my days building websites with Drupal, CakePHP, PHP, MySQL and jQuery, just to name a few.

I started building web design directories way back in the year 2005. My primary goal has always been to provide a simple, intuitive interface that allows potential clients to easily locate the best web designers for their projects.
